July 2009 - Walker
Walker, also known as Walkie Talkie, is a three and a half year old black lab. He loves to run and spend time with is best friend, and fellow lab, Hoosier. Walker can often be found spending time lounging in bed with his parents Dan and Patti where he's sure to get a belly rub or two. His favorite toy is a softball.
Walker was given up by his previous owner after "walking" from Oregen to Ventura (and still not at his destination)! Walkers partents had the luck of becoming his new owners when they found out about his story and his need for a good home. After some TLC, he is gaining weight, getting very shiny, and learning obedience basics like "Sit" (looks like you've nailed that one from the photo). He is the most loving pooch. He talks all the time (yawning, stretching, anxiety, excitement,...) thus his nick name - "Walkie Talkie".
